Your IRB will receive a notification from SMART IRB regarding your request to rely on UTHealth Houston IRB. Typically, you will need to submit the necessary paperwork, including the protocol and Case Report Form (CRF), to your local IRB to inform them about the study. This step is crucial before they can approve the request in SMART IRB. If you haven't used SMART IRB before, it's advisable to check with your IRB office to understand their specific requirements for approving a SMART IRB request. - An executed data use agreement (DUA).
