Effective September 1, 2025, by operation of Senate Bill 37 of the 89th Legislature of the State of Texas, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) Interfaculty Council (IFC), as described within these webpages, is abolished, and a new interim President's Faculty Advisory Committee has been established. Any references to the role of the IFC in UTHealth Houston administration, policy, and/or governance will be managed as directed by the President.
