The Interfaculty Council (IFC) was established in 1981 as the representative body of the faculty of all the schools to the President. Ex officio members serve as non-voting members. The IFC acts in an advisory capacity to the President on issues related to:
- faculty governance and academic affairs
- faculty status, rights and responsibilities
- administrative affairs
The IFC, by way of its relationship to the individual faculty governance organizations in each of the schools, is a conduit through which you can communicate with the university administration on matters of importance to all faculty. Much of its work is done through its subcommittees.
