Sexual Misconduct Prevention
All students and employees receive training in sexual misconduct prevention during their new student/new employee orientation, and receive additional training each fiscal year. This training includes topics such as: identifying sex discrimination, understanding different types of sexual misconduct, how to file a complaint, what protections are afforded to individuals who have experienced sex discrimination, and available resources.
The University of Texas Police – Houston also offers courses throughout the year, such as:
- Behaviors of Concern
- Domestic Violence Awareness
- General Campus Safety
- Rape Aggression Defense
- Violence Against Women
Employees can register for these courses at any time on Learn2Succeed. Students can request to join a course by contacting the University of Texas Police - Houston. To request additional training on any of these topics, please contact the Title IX Office or the University of Texas Police - Houston.
