Usage Guidelines

The Denton A. Cooley, MD and Ralph C. Cooley, DDS University Life Center is managed by UTHealth Auxiliary Enterprises. The Cooley Center facilities may only be used by advance reservation, as approved by Auxiliary Enterprises.

All users must sign a User Agreement, which details the terms of use.

Priority to use the Cooley Center is given to students, employees and registered organizations of UTHealth requesting the facilities for university purposes (i.e., for the furtherance of and related to the educational, cultural, recreational, and athletic programs of UTHealth). Usage fees may apply.

Non-registered organizations may also use the Cooley Center for permissible activities related to the university mission, or for 'special use,' as defined by UTHealth policy, and subject to its availability. Guest rates apply to non-registered organizations using the Cooley Center.

If registered UTHealth organizations, students or employees enter into joint sponsorship of a project or program with individuals, groups, or students that are not registered, guest rates will apply.

No solicitation will be allowed except by the agents, servants, or employees of the institution acting in the course and scope of the agency or employment, or by the student’s association of that institution, or by a registered student, faculty, or staff organization of that institution. Solicitation will not disrupt or interfere with the academic or institutional programs being carried on in campus buildings and will not interfere with the free and unimpeded flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
