REC/SPORTS

Rec Sports offers recreational and competitive leagues for UTHealth students, current Rec Center members, and eligible TMC students. Leagues are designed to provide organized, fun and fair competition throughout the year.

6v6 Soccer League
Co-rec soccer league with regular-season games + playoffs
- 6v6 format
- 2 female minimum
- 16-team maximum
- Rosters are limited to 12 players
- Players may only be on one team
- All games are self-officiated
- Equipment is provided
Eligibility: UTHealth Houston students, Rec Center members, and TMC students
Game Times: Wednesdays at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, or 9:00 PM

3v3 Basketball League
Co-Rec division basketball league with regular-season + playoffs.
- 8 games plus playoffs for all teams
- 20-team maximum
- Rosters are limited to 6 players - Minimum 1 Female per team
- Players may only be on one team
- All games are self-officiated
- Equipment is provided
Eligibility: UTHealth Houston students and Rec Center members
Game Times: Wednesdays at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, or 8:30 PM

- Game balls and bats are provided
- Players must provide their own gloves

Doubles league with recreational and competitive divisions.
- 32-team maximum
- 4 regular-season matches plus playoffs
- Players may only play on one doubles team
- All games are self-officiated
- Equipment is provided
- Dedicated Game Night

General League Policies

Eligibility

Participants must meet the eligibility requirements listed for each league. Eligible participants may include UTHealth Houston students, current Rec Center members, and TMC students depending on the league.

Sponsored guests are not eligible to participate in Rec Sports leagues at this time.
ID Verification

Participants may be required to show a valid UTHealth Houston ID, TMC student ID, or Rec Center ID upon request.
Rosters

Players may only play on one team per league. All teams must meet roster requirements by the listed deadline or before the first night of play.
Self-Officiating

Most Rec Sports leagues are self-officiated. Participants are expected to play fairly, respect opponents, and follow all league rules.
Weather Updates

Outdoor leagues may be delayed, postponed, or rescheduled due to weather. Any updates will be communicated by Rec Sports.
Equipment

Equipment is provided unless otherwise noted. Some leagues may require participants to bring personal equipment, such as tennis racquets or softball gloves.
